How we handle your personal data

enrooted builds sovereign AI. The same principle applies to this website: we collect as little as possible, and what we do collect stays within the EU/EEA, except statistics and ad measurement, which we only use with your consent.

What data we process

What you provide in the contact form: name, organisation, email address, topic and message. If you accept cookies we also collect data about your visit (pages, time, browser, approximate location and cookie ID) via Google Analytics and, if you accept marketing, the LinkedIn Insight Tag. If you are signed in to LinkedIn, LinkedIn may link the visit to your profile. We only receive aggregated statistics and never see who visited the site. The site has no login.

Why we process it

To answer your enquiry and continue the conversation. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)). Sending a message is voluntary. Statistics and ad measurement are based on your consent (art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time via Cookie settings at the bottom of the page. Ad measurement is used to follow up our LinkedIn campaigns and to show ads to people who have visited the site.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that lead nowhere are deleted within twelve months. If you become a customer, the data is kept for the duration of the relationship and thereafter as long as accounting and contractual requirements demand.

Who can see it

enrooted staff who need it for their work, plus our email and hosting providers. Google and LinkedIn receive data if you have given consent. For the collection via the LinkedIn Insight Tag, enrooted and LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company are joint controllers (art. 26). LinkedIn is responsible for its further processing under its own privacy policy. Other providers are data processors under GDPR art. 28 agreements. We never sell data on and never use it to train AI models.

Transfers to third countries

The contact form is processed entirely within the EU/EEA. Statistics and ad measurement are handled by Google and LinkedIn, and data may be transferred to Google LLC and LinkedIn Corporation in the USA. Both are certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection, as well as data portability. Contact us at info@enrooted.ai. You may also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, imy.se.

Security

Data is protected with access control, encryption in transit and logging. In the event of a personal data breach that poses a risk to you, we notify IMY within 72 hours.

Changes

If the policy is updated we change the date above. Material changes are communicated to anyone in an ongoing dialogue with us.
